Adkins heat presses have been a product YPS has held for several years. Adkins have over a century of experience in manufacturing and designing heat transfer machines and are used worldwide. Their expertise has made them a giant within the digital textile and sublimation industry.

Recently YPS has dived into the table-top dye sublimation industry. In 2020 we experienced great success with our Business in a Box, featuring the Epson SureColor SC-F500. Going into 2021, YPS are very excited about the launch of the Epson SureColor SC-F100 and have created the SPARK Lite, Design & Pro bundles to help businesses get started with sublimation.
Launched in February 2021, each SPARK package includes an Adkins A4 heat-press, with the SPARK Pro also including an Adkins Mug Sublimation Press.
From transfer presses for T-shirts and garment decoration to wide format dye-sublimation calenders, Adkins will have a machine to suit your business. YPS recently added a range of Adkins sublimation presses to our expanding library of machines.
The Adkins A4 heat press features a compact 21 x 33cm heat plate. This is the smallest of the Adkins heat press family. This Manual A4 sized press was designed for small scale sublimation work. For example, ceramic tiles and decorations, signage and clothing decoration. Its convenient size makes it ideal for those just beginning or with limited space.
The next step up from the A4 press would be the Adkins Master Auto-Clam Heatpress featuring a 38 x 38cm print area. This middle child of the Adkins family can be used for the same sublimation work as its siblings, however, with a significantly bigger heat plate than the A4 press, making this press perfect for a broader scale of garment decoration and signage.
This press includes the auto-open function, meaning the heat press automatically opens at the end of the timer stopping the transfer process. Convenient if you’re working on a larger scale and need to move away from your press without worrying about burning your products.
Lastly, the Adkins Swing Away Heatpress. This particular press is the largest in the Adkins heat press family supplied by YPS, with a 40 x 50cm heat plate. As its name suggests, this press has a swing-away heat plate that can be moved aside for easy loading. This feature was designed to make it easy to load clothing and T-shirts for garment decoration. With the swing-away function and the large heat plate, this press is perfect for cushions, photo boards, and bags.
With the rise in popularity of tabletop dye-sublimation printers, heat press sales have also increased from customers looking for a second income they can generate from home. Small businesses have taken to dye sublimation to create bespoke gifts and homeware pieces and for this a heat press is vital.
