New Functions for Rasterlink 6 Plus:

1. ID cut function (Relevant printer: UCJV300/150, CJV300Plus, JV300Plus )

The new ID Cut is a function that prints a crop mark and ID bar code for recognition of cutting and media rotation of job. The job can be loaded into the machine which then reads the bar code and can then start the cut job automatically.

It saves the labour to have every cut order sent by the operator through RasterLink6Plus. It reduces a media loss by error of data transmission, too.

2. Multi layers print function (Relevant printer: UCJV300)

With the Mimaki UCJV300 series it is possible to create 4 and 5 layer prints. The combination of 4 layers print of Colour + Black + White + Colour when backlit can create stunning day and night effects. 5 layer prints consisting of Colour + White + Black + White + Colour create window graphics that allow two different images to be seen.

By using the RasterLinkTools plug-in tool in Adobe Illustrator, the image of multiple layers print such as the 4 layers print can be checked in advance at the operation screen of the Illustrator. This preview allows the user to toggle a backlit on and off to show how the image will work before printing.

3. PDF data with transparent effect is faithfully represented.
