The Mimaki UJV100-160Plus UV printer offers cost-effective print technology, with both flexibility and versatility. Mimaki’s sixth-generation LED UV technology cures the ink instantly.

A wide range of applications is possible with the Mimaki UJV100-160Plus. This is due to its ability to print on a range of materials. Printing on tarpaulin, PVC, fabric, vinyl and even PET are all possible thanks to UV curing.

The UJV100-160Plus features new capabilities and has been designed to consume an exceptionally low amount of power. At just 0.5kW, the UJV100-160Plus consumes less than half the power of eco-solvent and latex/resin printers on the market(2), helping print businesses to reduce running costs and their CO2 emissions.

The Mimaki UJV100 -160Plus offers three ink combinations with CMYK plus white and clear ink options for value-added print. White ink allows for printing on transparent and coloured materials with a high density and opacity making it fantastic for backlit and window displays. Clear ink offers a range of design applications including spot UV effects for wallpaper and signage.

A new ink saving function reduces ink consumption by up to 50% while maintaining the colour balance of the printed design. Ink reduction levels are set by the operator using Rasterlink 7, therefore specialist knowledge or equipment is not needed.

A new function of the UJV100-160Plus is the printer pulls back the printed substrate to enable up to 3-layer printing, extending the application possibilities and allowing colour-white-colour or white-colour-clear printing, giving more flexibility to offer a wide range of applications, for increased creative effect or to add value to applications such as window graphics.

The UJV100-160Plus also works seamlessly with the Mimaki CG-AR range of cutting plotters. Rasterlink 7 allows users to output cut data directly to the plotter improving workflow.
