The Roland TrueVIS AP-640 is Roland’s first water based resin printer. Part of the flagship TrueVIS series, the AP-640 is a 64″ print only machine.

TrueVIS, the all-in-one solution that has transformed thousands of businesses worldwide, is now entering a new stage with the addition of the resin printer. The AP-640 offers high colour saturation on a wide range of coated and uncoated media including PVC free, vinyl, paper film and more.

Piezo printheads are arranged in a dual staggered formation with an optimiser printhead and dedicated CMYK head. This offers a more precise colour and image result with variable dot printing.

Water based TrueVIS resin ink is quick drying, scratch resistant and safe to sue on a range of media. Ink is available in 700ml pouches with CMYK and optimiser and is also GreenGuard Gold certified.

The Roland TrueVIS AP-640 features a 7-inch LCD touch control panel with intuitive settings and functions, high productivity dryer unit for quick drying and an adjustable media take-up unit that accommodates rolls of different sizes make the AP-640 perfect for unattended printing . Media gap and feed compensation can now be adjusted with a single button. The AP-640 uses optical registration technology to ensure print accuracy.

The Roland TrueVIS AP-640 also includes Roland’s VersaWorks 6 RIP, featuring the new True Rich Color 3 preset, Nearest Colour Finder, and Variation Job function.
