The YPS machine of the month for May 2022 is the Roland DG TrueVIS VG3 Series. This machine features a host of new features, such as the new 7-inch touch screen control panel, newly designed, adjustable media take-up unit that accommodates rolls of different sizes and a one-touch media clasp that makes loading media rolls easy for a single operator.
With so much focus on new media features on the all-new VG3, we wanted to discuss the media opportunities for the latest TrueVIS addition.
Drytac
Drytac Polar Premium Air Polymeric media is compatible with the Roland TrueVIS VG3 Series. The high opacity of Polar Premium self-adhesive PVC film provides an excellent printing surface and offers a consistent white point. Drytac’s Polar Premium is part of our Your Essential Range from YPS and prices start from £174 for a 1370mm roll width.
YPS showcased our demo Roland DG TrueVIS VG2-540 printing onto Drytac ReTac Smooth 150 vinyl at Sign & Digital UK 2022. Drytac ReTac Smooth is a tried and tested premium media we recommend for use with the TrueVIS VG3. This media is available from YPS’ Your Premium Range, prices starting from £216 for a 1370mm roll width.
Drytac Polar Chrome PET Film is part of the YPS Your Speciality Range and creates engaging displays and signage with this bold reflective film. Polar Chome is compatible with the new Roland TrueVIS addition, prices start at £259 for a 1370mm roll width.
Metamark
MD100 Monomeric is a key product part of our Your Value Range from YPS. The media is a white gloss finish vinyl ideal for short term applications. This media is great to start with the new Roland DG TrueVIS VG3 Series, as it is part of our value range, it's affordable, with prices starting at £106 for a 1370mm roll width.
Metamark MD3 Monomeric would complement the all new Roland machine well, as the brand's extended colour gamut is designed to reach brand colours with ease. With the Metamark MD3 media, plus Roland’s orange and green inks you could create impressive vehicle graphics and livery. MD3 is a part of YPS’ Your Essential Range with prices starting at £155 for a 1370mm roll width.
The high tack adhesive of Metamark MD5-H has been developed to apply to ‘difficult to stick to’ surfaces, interior wall decor applications and for use on smooth, sealed interior walls. Combine this with the all new features from Roland; FlexFire print heads, TR2 inks and True Rich Color, VG3 and MD-5 H create the ultimate in professional print graphics production solution. This media is part of our Your Premium Range with prices starting at £252 for a 1370mm roll width.
