Dye sublimation is the digital print technique that uses heat to transfer dye onto polyester and polymer coated materials such as fabric, plastics and metal. This method can be used to print a wide range of promotional and personalised products as well as textiles.

Epson has followed up this incredibly successful printer with an A4 version, the Epson SureColor SC-F100 dye sublimation printer, aimed at the home creative and those entering or expanding their print business.
The SureColor SC-F100 is the first A4 dye sublimation printer from Epson and has the quality and high spec you would expect from the Epson brand. This four colour printer features a CMYK ink set and includes a starter set in the box. Full colour, permanent images can be printed on items such as t-shirts and mugs to plaques, bags and cushions. Consistent, high quality printing is achievable thanks to the PrecisionCore MicroTFP printhead.

The Epson SureColor SC-F100 offers a total low cost of ownership. The printer itself is very competitively priced with original Epson inks also offering incredible value. Printing costs using the SC-F100 when compared to the current market leader are also lower. For example, a full print coverage 40x40cm cushion printed with the Epson SC-F100 costs only 3p for one side compared to the leading competitors cost at 25p. A production run of 100 cushions uses £3 worth of ink compared to £25 which is an impressive saving.
Small Printer, Huge Potential...
The SureColor SC-F100 has the same characteristics and footprint of a home printer. The printer can be installed and operated easily with no specialist knowledge required. A 1 year return to base warranty is also included for further peace of mind.
As well as being incredibly easy to operate, Epson has made refilling the inks very easy too with no cartridges to replace meaning lower costs, less waste and the ability to print for longer. Inks are priced at £20.95+vat each for a 140ml bottle which offers very good value. Using OEM ink negates any possible issues that can arise from using third party inks.
