The YPS Machine of the Month for August is our recently installed Mimaki UJF-3042 MKII UV LED flatbed printer. This machine features as our Machine of the Month as it continues to create impressive and high-quality prints while still being one of the fastest machines of its kind on the market.
The Mimaki UJF-3042 MKII and other flatbed machines often intimidate potential new customers as they can seem complex. However, once explained and understood the machine is as user-friendly as your Mimaki wide-format printer and even utilises the same Rasterlink RIP software.

The UV LED flatbed machine from Mimaki boasts a maximum substrate thickness of 153mm allowing you to print on almost anything, provided it fits within the bed space! The machine can also print onto items placed within a jig. Jigs can hold awkwardly shaped promotional items such as phone covers, stationery, bottles, USB sticks, pens and keyrings securely. Creating bespoke items featuring personalisation is also possible thanks to the printers ability to print on to a wide range of substrates from acrylic to wood and glass.
