The EWS workstation was designed with the operator in mind. The table is adjustable while also designed for the operator to work anywhere on the table comfortably.
The Moditech EWS X4 is equipped with 4 electric legs and the X2 with two electronic legs which offer the operator the ability to adjust the table height for a more comfortable working position. Thanks to the electronically controlled pressure roller, it is possible to work anywhere on the table from your chosen height with the electronically adjustable legs.
This pressure roller also assists the operator as lamination no longer requires stretching across to the middle of the table, as it maintains an even pressure and ensures it remains parallel with the table surface.
Stainless steel bearing tracks meaning no wear or readjustment is needed. The table framework is produced from laser-cut steel with self-locking trusses guaranteeing a flat and rigid table surface.
Keeping a rigid working space means the pressure rollers' effectiveness will not be compromised by wear over time.
Both the EWS X2 and X4 have a range of optional features. Both models feature a Tilt function, allowing you to adjust the table up to 25 degrees for a comfortable working position, keeping the operator in mind at all times. The anti-wrinkle tool is also available on the X2 and X4, for use when applying transfer film on some laminates. Alike the tilt function and anti-wrinkle tool, the LED lighting also features on both models, the table is backlit with LED bulbs, making it easy to see crop marks and align artwork.
The X4 EWS table also offers a heated roll which provides constant heat distribution thanks to its spiral-shaped heating pipes and wireless remote-activated control to allow lamination at a constant speed as well as moving the glide beam back faster.
