The Mimaki JV100-160 uses the popular SS21 solvent ink set which allows for a range of print applications. Configurations include 4 colour CMYK as well as 8 colours including CMYK as well as Light Cyan, Light Magenta, Light Black and Orange. When orange ink is installed, nearly 95% of Pantone colours can be achieved thanks to the wider colour gamut. 

The Mimaki JV100-160 has the productivity features that are found across the full Mimaki range including NCU (Nozzle Check Unit), NRS (Nozzle Recovery System), and MAPS4 (Mimaki Advanced Pass System4). These features enable both stable and high-quality printing. The new DAS (Dot Adjustment System) feature will also be available with “100 series” printers. Dot position correction and feed amount correction, which used to be manual operations and require time and effort, can now be automated. Therefore, reducing the workload on the printer operator.

The Mimaki JV100-160 is supplied with the latest version of their RIP software, Rasterlink 7. A new and powerful RIP software that offers improved processing speed by 25% on average. Other new features include high-speed pdf processing, ability to output variable data and the integration of a favourites setting.
